Oracle vs Alinghi: Oracle Lead in America’s Cup 2 — Sources said that in the 2nd race of 33rd America’s Cup 2held on Sunday, U.S. challengers BMW oracle have built a commanding lead.

Ernesto Bertarelli’s Alinghi had a miserable race, incurring a penalty before the start and then appearing to make another error at the first mark after leading by more than 500 meters.

Light winds forced officials to delay the start by more than six hours, the boats crossing the start line just minutes before the time limit for the day expired.
